Repatriation
Bringing a loved one home.
When a loved one is to be laid to rest in another country - or brought home to the UK - we manage every part of the journey with the dignity it deserves.
Repatriation from the UK
For families wishing to lay a loved one to rest in their country of origin or family homeland. We coordinate every requirement at this end and work closely with a trusted partner in the destination country.
Repatriation into the UK
For families whose loved one has died overseas and is to be brought home to the UK. We manage the receiving arrangements, customs and onward funeral service here.
What we take care of
The paperwork. The logistics. All of it.
Repatriation involves many parties - embassies, coroners, airlines and overseas funeral directors. Our role is to coordinate every one of them so your family does not have to.
- Liaison with the relevant embassy or high commission
- All export documentation - including the consular mortuary certificate
- Coroner clearance where required
- Translation of medical and statutory documents
- Embalming where mandated by the destination country
- Approved zinc-lined coffins or air-tray caskets
- Booking and coordination with airline cargo desks
- Working with a partner funeral director at the destination
For our diverse community.
Many families in our community have roots elsewhere - in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Caribbean, across Africa, Europe and beyond. We have arranged repatriations to many countries and are familiar with the requirements of most major destinations.
If you are unsure what is involved or what is possible, please call. We will explain plainly and take care of everything from there.
Whenever you're ready, we're here
Reach us by phone, day or night. We will listen, guide you through what happens next, and take care of everything with dignity.
Available 24 hours - we will answer.
